    Default About ordering post-1858 wills

    Does anyone know, when you order a post-1858 will from the Probate Service, will they post it abroad or only within the UK? The 'help' pages on gov.uk are silent on this point.

    It also took me ages to find that the GRO will send BMD certificates worldwide for no extra cost, I found that buried in the small print.

    If you order through the new service -

    https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk/#wills

    a scanned copy of the documents is made available for you to download so it's the same for everyone in the world
