    Default Serg Barrow

I have a compass ((I thought it was a pocket watch before I opened it. Inside it has been very crudely engraved: 1036 Serg Barrow 11th RF France 1915-1916 1917.

I have found that the 11th RF was the 11th Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers. I intend to send this item to the RF museum or archives as I have done previously with other military items. Can anyone help in advising if I might be able to find more info on this person, and if so where to look. I realise I don't have a great deal to go on.

Thanks so much for all this info. I will send it, along with the compass. Unfortunately I am receiving an internal error when I try to look at the Gazette, but that's OK. I am sure I will have enough info to give.
