According to my records John Brownrigg married Elizabeth Hudson (29/09/1689) from Loweswater (seven times my great grand parents).
MARY BROWNRIGG (My great-great-great-grandmother) was born in 1814 in Whitbeck to John Brownrigg and Sarah Tyson.
Robert Dixon married Mary Brownrigg. They had four children:
John Dixon in 1845
Mary Dixon in 1846
Margaretta Dixon in 1847
Robert Dixon about 1850 (My gg grandfather, Broughton-in-Furness)

I'm doing an experiment, and so I apologise to anyone who receives a notification about a further post in this thread only to find it's a mod fiddling around.
