Found in the 1901 census as Marks Joseph aged 2 (birthplace given as Leeds Russian Subject..). Father Abraham Joseph b. abt 1866 Russian subject, Tailor (worker). Mother's also Russian. 5 kids including Marks, all born Leeds (eldest is Doris aged 11).

In the 1911, Abraham & Ada gives their birthplaces as Poland, Russia. He's now a tailor-employer. They now have 6 living kids, and 2 dead. 2 eldest kids working at differing aspects of tailoring, plus 3 boarders, all from Poland and nationality Russian, doing the same, so the firm must have been doing reasonably well.

FreeBMD has a marriage in Leeds for a Marks Joseph in 1924. There's only one bride's name on the page, that of Leah Levi.
