    Red face Hi everyone

I have been researching family history for about 6 years and find it engrossing and fun. So much so that I have helped several other people to produce coffee table books about their families. That is not to say that I have finished my family by any means. I am very easily distracted and, using a fishing metaphor, tend to trawl rather than spear fish. Not the most efficient approach but I sometimes dredge up something’s that no-one else finds.
I am not diligent about organising my research so the data is hard to draw any conclusions. Ah well, I’m having a good time : )

Hi and welcome to the British-Genealogy forums.
I know what you mean about trawling and i think we can all get distracted quite easily when a snippet of information grabs our attention. Putting together a book is only a distraction from being distracted.
