    The latest database update took place on 3rd May 2019
    We are always looking for volunteers to help us improve on these figures, if you have some spare
    time and are interested please contact me by message here
    There are new records for the following counties,
    1841, None This Month
    1851, DEV
    1861, DBY, HAM, HUN, STS, WRY
    1871, CAE, ERY, NRY, NTT, OXF, RUT, SOM, WRY
    1881, SOM
    1891, BRK, DBY, GLA, HAM, LEI, LND, SFK, SOM,
    There are now 37,067,275 individual records on line, they break down into the census years as shown below. If you wish to see what is available
    for the different counties please go to

    As Bev says, they can always use more transcribers. You don’t have to sign on forever, but a couple of hours a week, for example, can only help.

    The more help we have the quicker information will become available, all help is much appreciated. We are particularly short of volunteers prepared to proof read transcriptions that have been done.

    Yes, Bev needs people to help with proof read 1871 Surrey records.
