Are any members of the forum members of the Society of Genealogists?
The reason for asking is that my publisher has told me that they asked for a copy of my book so that they can review it and include the review in a future issue of their Genealogists’ Magazine, which I understand is issued quarterly.
Is that magazine available to non members?

I believe I'm correct in saying the magazine is available for non-members to read when they visit the SoG, but it's only distributed to members and is not available to purchase as a one-off.

From looking at the society's online shop, it appears that non-members can buy it too, though only as an annual subscription. I couldn't see anything about single copies there.

I would have thought they would provide a copy of the issue of the magazine containing the review. It's available electronically as well as on paper.

Ladkyis - I bragged about it last year, after spending two or so years pestering people here for help, so I was reluctant to do so again.
But if you insist ....
It's called Transported and tells the true stories of the 236 convicts sent to NSW in 1832 aboard the 6th convict transport voyage of ship called the Mangles - basically why they were there, and as far as I have been able to determine what happened to them after they arrived in NSW.
One of them was one of my distant ancestors which was the starting point for it all. ..... and its available from all good booksellers
