William Charles Jackson

Born in 1894, served in in the Royal Garrison Artillery in WW1 came out to NZ on the Ship Ruapehu in 1927 his occupation was a Printer (Linotype Operator) he married Annie Rodgers who also was on the Ruapehu in 1927 I think in Wellington NZ. There is a strong possibility that he was already married possibly just after WW1 can anyone confirm this first marriage. His Parents lived in the Islington district in London, but possibly moved around a bit to avoid landlords. His fathers name was Wiiliam Charles Jackson and he had three brothers who also served in WW1 one of them had a book published called Anyhow Old Chap.

Looking at 1911 census the father is stated As Charles William. C1864

There is also a son named Charles William c1892 as well as a son William Charles c1894

I can see the WW1 service record for CHARLES William (1892)

From his army record (born 1891) he was demobbed (Feb 1919) to one of the addresses given as his father's as next of kin. This was in the registration district of Islington.

Cannot spot an Islington marriage for a William C Jackson but there are a couple of William Jackson's only in the period 1919-1927.

Expanding the search to Middlesex there are two William C Jacksons and a lot of William Jackson's only for that period
