I’ve found my 3rd great grandfathers army record and was wondering if anyone could help with telling me what it says on this page as I’m having trouble understanding the handwriting I can see there’s something about forfeit the Egyptian medal and star? He fought in the 1882 Egypt campaign

My interpretation.
Royal W(est) Kent Regiment. Attested. Private.
G.C. pay at 1d (one penny)
2/W(est) Kent Continued Private
Absent and in [not sure of next bit, might be a shortened form of confinement]
Tried and imprisoned
& sentenced to forfeit Egyptian Medal & Star
Forfeited [not sure] pay
Released. Private.
Restored 1d (one penny) G.C. Pay
