    hi,can anyone identify this badge? or tell me anything about it? all i know is its from ww2,my grandad was a marine

    It’s easier to help with a bit more information. What was his name? Do you have his service number? Did he survive the war? That sort of thing.

    The one above his Sergeant's stripes I am not sure about, but would denote some speciality skill.
    Googling may find it.

    his name is frank aldridge from nottingham,i know he was in north africa i think with montgomery as he talked of him and he survived the war.i cannot find any information about the badge other than 8th army and sargeant.
