Mis-filed as MARSHALL in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

John William MORHALL enlisted age 38y 3m in Dec 1915 with the RGA. (Regt No: 124077)
Served until discharge in 1919.
Died in the Royal Salop Hospital on 19 June 1923 (Perforated Gastric Ulcer & Peritonitis).

Home address: Oswestry, Shropshire.
Married Priscilla GRIFFITHS in 1906 at Chester.
Children: Violet Elfrida 1906, John Leonard 1909, Edward Jeffrey 1911.
NB: Both Edward Jeffrey and the man's death are registered as MORRHALL (Death registered by brother in law S A WEAVER).

Listen carefully, you'll probably hear ghostly sniggering. I can't find them in the census on Anc or FMP.

I've found Violet Elfrida's birth (1906, Wrexham). There's also a Violet Evelyn from Lincs, so it's hard to tell which was the Violet E who married In Essex in 1926. (I thought Violet would be the easiest one).
John Leonard was b. 1909 Oswestry. Nothing else.
Edward J born 1911 Oswestry (not to be confused with Edward Geoffrey of Shropshire or Edward G of Surrey) so they really should be around there for the census...

Found most of them in the 1911 by just searching "Violet, 1906, Wrexham).
