KAUFMAN/MARKS, Daniel b c1886 - WW1

This man, Daniel KAUFMAN, served as MARKS. Consequently his papers are filed in the MAR section of the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

Daniel MARKS, home address Sheffield, joined the West Yorkshire Regiment in April 1908, declaring age 22y 3m, born Nottingham. (Birth not found, for either name)
Taken Prisoner of War in September 1914; released in 1918; discharged 1919.

Father: Lazarus
Brother: Harry
Married (as MARKS) Millie COHEN at Sheffield Register Office in 1918.
Naturalized ("Kaufman, known as Marks") in 1919.

His descendants are probably MARKS, but just in case ...

The 1911 has a Lazarus Marks, age 45, tailor, born Poland, naturalized 1903. Wife, Hilda, also born Poland, don't think she was naturalized. They had 7 living children, but only 6 were resident, one of whom was called Harry. There's no Daniel.Harry's the oldest on the list, born abt 1893 Nottingham as was next brother. 4 younger kids all born Sheffield.
Daniel's with them in 1901. Born Poland, Rusia abt 1885. He was a tailor. Note that mother's name was Hanna in 1901 and Hilda in 1911, but it must be the same woman (20 years married in 1911).
Can't find them in the 1891 - 2nd child was Sarah, according to the 1901 b. 1889 in Nottingham but a search with no surname, just Sarah dau of Lazarus, didn't give anything.
