Default Royal West African Frontier Force

Researching William W Fairhurst who served in the Royal West African Frontier Force No3TTS in Elmira, West Africa in 1944.

Can anyone explain what the No3TTS means?

    Thanks

There's a book The history of the Royal West African Frontier Force by Colonel A.Haywood and Brigadier F.A.S.Clarke; pub. Gale & Polden, 1964.

You would probably find it useful. Your library should be able to obtain a copy (there are copies in both Bucks and Herts library services)
