    Mis-filed as MARKLAND in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

    Dental mechanic George Markland LUMSDEN enlisted 12 December 1915, declared age 27y 5m, born Newcastle.
    Regt Nos: 41983 TRB; 59154 Welsh; 97269 Welsh Fusiliers.
    Discharged January 1920.

    He was a dental mechanic according to the 1911.
    Registered as a dentist 1922. I think that he died 1964 in Newcastle on Tyne.
    In 1901 he's living with a brother (HoH) & 3 sisters.
    In 1891 The family's parents are there George (Police Sgt) and Elizabeth A Eagle.

    Interesting - I have Lumsdens, but they're from Fife and I can't see a link.
