Default Mary Elizabeth Dennis CARTER baptised 1831

Mary was baptised on 16 January 1831 at St Andrew, Greenstead-juxta-Colchester, Essex.

Mary's parents are Turpin and Mary Ann Carter, abode St Luke's, Middlesex.
Mary was born 21 August 1830, and Turpin's occupation is baker.

Page number 46, entry number 64.
Interestingly the pages in this parish register (baptisms 1813-1852) have the parish name spelt as East Grinstead. I haven't yet checked other registers to see what they say.

GENUKI might have information about when the Parish name changed.

A new vicar arrived October/November 1889 and he immediately began to write just 'Greenstead' on the pages.

Prior to that, other variations had included East Greenstead and East Greenstead Colchester.
