Looking for any help to find information on Ann(e) Shenyn b. 1687 Staffordshire, married William Greaves 1703 (info fro England Marriages) - 5 children. Don't know if spelling of her surname is correct - could be any close or same sounding.

It would help if you said where you found the information you have given. e.g England Marriages is all well and good but - which site? Where did they marry? Where were the children baptised? How do you know Ann(e) was born 1687 in Staffordshire?

Presumably you are aware that information from that time period is very limited, and that possibly the only reference you may find is something along the lines of 'baptised, a daughter of Frederick Shenyn'.

Hi - and thanks for the interest. Ann and William were married 2 Nov 1703 • Lichfield Cathedral Lichfield Staffordshhire England and the information came from Ancestry.co.uk. Four of 5 children were baptised in Uttoxeter Staffordshire; one in Repton, Derbyshire. If I have the information correct the children are William, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann and Thomas.

Where did you get the date of birth from?

All Ancestry has is a partial transcription. You need to track down the original parish register and judge for yourself what the bride's name was.

Findmypast has an image of the original register. I suggest you look there.

I've had a look and think it might be Ann Sherwyn because there's a baptism of an Ann Sherwin in 1685 in Uttoxeter.

born in Uttoxeter Staffordshire to a William and Ann Greaves from 1700 to 1725

Where did Repton spring from?

I should have added that while you're poking around in Findmypast, you could search for their children. I can see a possible eight baptisms not all of whom survived. The burial register is also available on Findmypast.
