    Mis-filed as MARSHALL in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

    James MINSHALL, a Potter, joined up on 11 August 1914, declared age 26y 87d, born Burslem, Staffs. (GRO = Q2 1887). Served as 79730 with the RFA until de-mob in 1919.

    Home address: Burslem, Staffs.
    Parents: HENRY & ANN
    Married 1906: HARRIET MORLEY (Noted as H A on child's Death Certificate)
    Children: Elizabeth Ann 1906, Mary Ann 1907, Milly (registered as Lily) 1908, Margaret 1909, Robert William 1912 & James 1914 (died 1915). There is possibly another child, May b1918, but difficult to read.
