    Mis-filed (as MARSHALL) in the WW1 Service Records (WO 363):

    Marshall HOLLINGS enlisted March 1915 declared age 36y, born Darwen, Lancs.
    Served as 8915 RFA, 482879 Labour & 47116 Manchesters.
    Discharged 1919.

    Home address: Darwen, Lancs;
    Married Eveline WARREN, Blackburn, 1905;
    Son: Henry b1906

    There's a death reg for a Marshall Hollings b. 1879 in Dec quarter 1927, Blackburn Lancs, which I think must be him. Deceased Online gives the burial date as 23 Nov, 1927. His Discharge Documents from the Manchesters are on Anc. He saiys he previously served as an infantry soldier In England, had defective eyesight worsened by army training. Served India & Africa.
