Could someone please translate/confirm the details of Seaman #7472 Simon Healy’s merchant navy voyages below for me?
For example, in 1837 the notation N.York…does that actually mean New York or North Yorkshire?
Where are ports coded 738, 4584, 434, and 375?
If the occupation code S is Seaman, what is CS?

BACKGROUND: Simon Healy (aka Heley) was born in Cork in 1795. Apparently at age 40 he joined the ship “George” out of Cork. Simon is my GGG-grandfather. He is listed as Simon Heley seaman on my GG-grandmother’s marriage certificate when she married for the second time as a widow in April 1866 in Hartlepool. My GG-grandmother is Ellen Healy Hassock Ainsley. She was born in Cork. I haven't found a record of her first marriage to John Samuel Hassock mariner from King's Lynn. When she married John Ainsley, Ellen was crossed out on the certificate and Eleanor written above. I think I’ve found Ellen Healy in the 1841 census age 10 but the head of the household is Dennis Healy, with wife Ellen. In 1851 the Healey family is at William St in Hartlepool which fits with other family residential data. Dennis Healey’s occupation is coast guard retired. Perhaps Simon Healy morphed into Dennis Healey. Their birth years appear to match.
