Have seen entry in this infirmary admissions and discharges for 1916. The patient appears to have been discharged to "Ashford...House" I have not been able to find any record of an associated house in Ashford. There was an industrial school at Plashet but nowhere similar for adults. Any ideas please.

We might make a reasonable guess if you provided the details so we can look for ourselves.
What does "Ashford...House" mean? Is the "..." something you can't read or just some irrelevant words you've omitted? Was the patient young? Old? Disabled?

At. George in the east infirmary
Edward Eder, age 53, discharged July 1916. Second time in the hospital that year for chest infection. There appears to be one or two words between Ashford and house. In any other context between the wars one could assume some kind of convalescence in the country, but I don't know if there was that kind of thing then.
