Where might I find detailed information about the movements of the 2/border regiment after ww1. I know they were posted to Malta, Rawalpindi and Tientsin in China. I would like to know what thet did there. My connection is with a "Harry" Greene QMS 2/Border Regiment.

If you have not already visited the site, you could try here https://www.cumbriasmuseumofmilitary...rder-regiment/ . They may have detailed information.

I found...
1919 Ireland: Castlebar/Claremorris
1922 England: Aldershot 1 Bde
1924 Malta
1925 Sudan
1927 China: Tientsin
1929.12 India: Rawalpindi
1930 NW Frontier: Rawalpindi
1931 Landi Kotal
1934 Ferozepore
1938.10 Calcutta
1939 Calcutta
You ask what they did there. I think they were just standard garrison postings. It's what happened in an empire. Tianjin (Tientsin) has a fairly interesting history. See Wikipedia.
