    Default Hello - new member here, need help!!

    Dear All

    When I first came on this site last week I was sure I could use an interactive map showing where my Great Grandfather's regiment was fighting in the First World War.

    Now I cannot find it all - can you point me in the right direction?

    FYI, his name was C.Q.M.S Simon Merritt and he was killed in action on Christmas Day 1915 whilst with the Wiltshire Regiment 6th Battalion.

    Did you start last week on Forces War Records? You are now on the British Genealogy Forum (to which you are very welcome), and we’re just a notice board, we don’t have interactive maps and things....
    OTOH we have helpful and friendly members who can generally help...
