    You're on absolute fire tonight, Chris.

    I had had a quick look at the GRO historical births but there seemed to be quite a few possibles for Edward, Alice, and Joseph, and I didn't have time to do an in-depth study.

    There seems to be two birth reg for a Joseph Rigby mmn Taylor on the GRO
    first one 1844 March 1/4 Prescot vol 20 page 806. Second one Dec 1/4 1845 Prescot. So did the first born Joseph die. There are three deaths on the GRO in Prescot. Two in 1845 age 0 and age 1 and one in 1846 age 0
