Default City Of London cemetery registers 1856-1955

Once again, thanks are due to Peter Calver of Lost Cousins.

The registers for the City of London cemetery are now online and are currently free to view.

Not indexed, but considering how much it would cost for the cemetery people to do a search, don't look a gift horse
in the mouth. However, if you know the year and quarter in which someone died you will probably find your search limited to one or two registers maximum, and you can 'fast-forward' the pages which should help.

People from literally all over London (and slightly beyond) are buried there. It is the largest cemetery/crematorium in the UK and possibly Europe.
