Is there a way you can tell me how you found it on Ancestry?
Is there a link you can share?
    Hi
A link to ancestry is not allowed by us or them. The Card is free to view.
To find the Medal Index Card - on the Home page of ancestry click on Search in the top black bar. From the drop down menu click on Military. On the next page on the RH side find British Army WWI Medal Rolls Index Cards, 1914-1920 and click on it.
On the search page enter the regimental number 38171. There are 19 results. Scroll down until you come to George A Rogers' card and click on it.
I couldn't get a result using the other regimental number or name for some reason but the above method works fine.

    Hi

Not sure you will like it but it says
"Letter from O/C Recs (Officer in charge of records) re civil conviction on 5/8/26"
Maybe a local newspaper may give a clue?

    regards
