The system seems to work best if you only feed the search engine a surname (I haven't tried the very common names). It also involves a LOT of scrolling. The first search box should take you to a card (or cards) with forenames on it - the important thing is the reference number beginning with PA. Feed this number to the next search box and this should take you to a (black, on the left) menu with surnames and a number- these are clumps of entries and you have to scroll up or down to reach the name that would be above your search name, alphabetically speaking. Click on it, then scroll while watching the numbers on the top right of the passing pages. When the number matches your PA number, read the page, he should be on there somewhere.

Bad news, it's in German and full of abbreviations.
