    Hello
I have just come across your post regarding Joseph Cocker while searching for information on Wellfold, Glodwick.
Do you have an Emmanuel Cocker in your tree. He would have been born around 1848.
Emmanuel Cocker and Moses Millington were witnesses at my G Grandmother Alice Ann Hague's marriage to Isaac Woodside in 1866 at Christ Church, Glodwick. Isaac and Alice Ann were living at Wellfold, Glodwick at the time.
Alice Ann Hague's mother was Sarah Anne Greaves and was supposed to have been born in Limehurst, Oldham but I have been unable to find a Baptism for her.
I was wondering if Emmanuel Cocker maybe some relation to the Greaves or Hague's.

Sorry Pat, the Cockers don't appear in my Tree. I just found the soldier mis-filed in the WW1 Service Records, so "pulled him out" in order to help anyone searching for him.
    Good Luck with your research!
