Where might I search for records of enlistment in Palestine Police? (And is this the best area?)
I have Ronald Edwin Ellis, b. 1910, returning to Liverpool Sept 1945 on Franconia from Durban
amongst a large contingent of Palestine Police.
His death certificate shows he died at Trinity Hospice, Lambeth in 1985; and had resided Amyand Park Rd, Twickenham.
I have his parents and the 1911 census at Grange, Ulverstone but nothing else on his life. Thanks Heather
