Birth & Death Certificates

i sent off for the birth certificate on the 20th July iv'e had no email about refund and no refund in my bank so will wait an see on the 13th.

If they do find one seems odd nothing in Birth Indexes on Ancestry, Family search ect

I only put GRO reference with volume and page numbers on certificates i know to be 100% correct

Din't get the birth certificate in post today but got my granddads death cert that was in the time frame for delivery.

I phoned the GRO to query the birth cert for James M Hurst a nice gentleman checked the system and told it said nothing about not being found and to phone back on Saturday or Monday if not arrived and asked me if i had any email from them about found or not iv'e had nothing except the mail the day i ordered them saying been order received so waiting again.
