You've got a bit of a wait for the next census, Chrissie - till 1 January 2022 - so I hope you're the patient type.

I know its a bit of a wait but waited a while already , if i can get mt dads service number could open a few doors and i could replace the stolen original set .
Something may come up in the mean time.

    Hi

It took me 10 years to confirm my Grandfather's service number and I too am waiting for the 1921 census to confirm his birth place.
    Best wishes

I think its better when you do a bit of reasurch then have a rest i know when we were on ancestory my eyes were on stalks because just when you are going to turn it off you get another bit of info and you know you just have to look at it so it dosent realy matter how long it takes i will get there in the end .
    Thanks for the comment .
