Default Mutch Family Old Rayne Aberdeenshire

    Just joined this site.
Have been researching my paternal side of the family....'Mutch' who lived in Old Rayne Aberdeenshire .........anyone who knows of the Mutch folks and the area I would welcome any detail.
I use British Newspaper Archives; Scotlands People; Scotlands Places; Forces War Records Tarves Heritage Centre FB etc etc.............but any detail helps!
    Thanks
    Derek

P.S Just to say how lucky things can turn out.........I sent a message to the Tarves Heritage FB and after a couple of e-mail exchanges found out the person I was communicating with had lived next door to my Grandfather William Mutch, many years previously...........what are the chances of that happening! So never give up, always use brick walls in a positive manner and keep researching!

Welcome to B-G Derek. I am a great believer in creating your own luck. If you hadn't sent the message to the Tarves Heritage FB you would not have had that lucky breakthrough. here's hoping you will get similar success here.
