    Default nice to meet you,

    Hi, i have been doing genealogy since 1967, i have traced my family tree back to before the 1500,s, also gone back to before 1066. we have quite a good history earning us two armorial bearings one from William 1, one from king Charles 2nd in 1660. i am getting back into it after a few months off.

    Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums Dave
    A break away from our research can be good because when we come back to it there are so many more records online. Back to 1066 with some of yours- I can't even get back past 1850 with my maternal great grandfather. If only his mother had thought to apply for a bastardy bond just to give me a hint.
