    Default POWELL'S in Pentrefelin

Looking for John Powell. Born I think 1820/21 ish. I have found him on the census for 1851/61/71. His occupation was Sawyer and he was married to Jane. Place names were Gresford, Wrexham and Pentrefelin. His daughter Mary married into the Skeat family of Atherton and Tyldesley in Lancashire. My mother always said she had Welsh ancestry but up until recently I didn't go looking.

The marriage cert can be viewed on FMP.

Father is John Powell, labourer, which woul appear to rule out the Gresford baptism posted previously (father Thomas)
