    Default John White

I'm trying to find my father's service record. He was in the Highland Light Infantry as a motorbike outrider but apparently trained on tanks. The service number I've got for him is 3368952. He was from Glasgow, Scotland. Search didn't show up anything.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Service records for personnel who served after 1921 are still held by the Ministry of Defence.
Details of how to apply for those records can be found here

It will cost thirty pounds, and, unless he died while in service, in addition to the forms you will need to send a copy of his death certificate.
There may be a wait of some months before you receive a reply.
