I'm Debra. I have been researching my family history on and off for about thirty years. My paternal grandfather migrated from London in 1913 and my grandmother from Ireland some years later. They met, married and had a family here in Queensland, Australia.
I have found the UK Census an excellent source for my research and am keen to find other references. I am very keen on finding out their stories and what life was like for them in their youth as well as why they chose to migrate.
I look forward to interacting with like minded, curious people.
