    Default Greetings all, :-)

just found this site....looks interesting.....I'm all the way from Australia.....have started helping out my aunt with our family tree.....we have tried putting together pieces of my grandad's paperwork from when he went to Wales back in the 1960's.....and wrote a few things down.....we believe we are related to Reverend Thomas Williams that built Bethesda'r fro Chapel.....and also related to William Williams Pantycelyn.....any help would be really appreciated :-)

    cheers,

    Michael Di Pietro

    Hello Michael,

    Welcome to British-Genealogy.

I see you have already found a previous thread about the Williams family/families to which you might be related.

The important question at the moment is just how far back can you go with certainty i.e. proven by BMD certificates, census records, etc?
As you say, so many William Williams, so it's important that you start on solid ground before going any further.
