    Default Can not find a record

    Hi All
    I can not find any reference to my fathers records, I have his service number, full name, dates joined and discharged. He was with the RAF in India and Burma.

    Where should I look?

    Welcome to the british Genealogy Forum.

    As you will see from the message posted HERE, the MOD has not yet released service records post 1921 for publication on the internet. Assuming that he's dead, as a next of kin you can buy a copy of his records - see the message I have linked to. You'll need a copy of his death certificate and 30 pounds. If he's alive, only he can get a copy, the good news is that it's free to him.
