    Default 1724 Marriage Entry

Chapelry of Brassington, Parish of Bradbourne, Derbyshire, General Register:
"William TOPLIS and Mary ALLSOP both of this town were married by ***** of Licence May ye 16th 1724."
    What is the missing word?

Slightly puzzled as this couple obtained a marriage licence on August the 8th 1724 & married at South Wingfield on August the 9th 1724, both of Brassington.....
    So twice married!
