Default Searching Home Guard Auxiliary WW2

Looking for more info on my grandfather Leslie Brock who was in the Home Guard 202/GHQ/ Reserve Battalion WW2 called up 1940-41.
Limited information on his role in the war, I would like to find out what he did and where he was.

Welcome to the British-Genealogy forums canary26
If you came to us from Forces War Records reading this will tell you a little about us and the connection to FWR.
The National Archives site here tells you how to apply for service records for members of the Home Guard however it doesn't appear as if they will contain very much information.
You will not find any WW11 service records online as they are still held by the MoD

Home Guard Auxiliary units were saboteurs to attach German units after an invasion.

    Please read the Research Guide

Are you aware of this National Archives catalogue item?...
