Default Place of death - Charles Henry Scrivener

Hi all, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could assist me in my research. My 2nd great grandfather, Charles Henry Scrivener, fought in the 7th Labour Battalion in the Royal Engineers. He died 23rd November 1915 somewhere in France and Flanders and was buried in Somme. His regiment number was 118813.

Here's my query. I came across his record in the Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects, 1901-1929, and states that he died at 'Highland Cur Col Sta'. This is according to Ancestry's interpretation.

I can't find anything on this location on the internet, so I can only assume it's shorthand for something. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Thank you so much! He was buried specifically in Villers-Bocage Communal Cemetery Extension, so that's in the same area as the Highland CCS.
