I need a researcher on the ground to access records for 1872 onward for my ancestor who was a patient until her death in 1902. The family would like her case records for historical and medical information. If anyone can recommend a researcher I would be very grateful. Thank you.

CherryWalker & Christina,
My reaction to this post is Cheadle Royal,

The lodge still remains although the shrubbery has filled out somewhat

It is now known as the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal. You need to contact them.

I would be surprised if the NHS when selling the site to a private business 'sold' / left the confidential records in private hands
But how would one find out without asking The Priory first?

Thank you all for info & suggestions. I had no response from The Priory. A cousin who lives close by [but is visually impaired] telephoned but is still waiting for a useful lead.
