Looking at the signatures on the original image for Ruth, Mary, Elizabeth the surname is Hombersley. The birth and marriage entries on FreeBMD for Ruth confirm this.

Dear Christina I could fall out with you. You had better go through my post and alter ALL the RN to M. And don't you dare miss any or you'll get a slapped wrist!!

Hi Mitch
I think it may be better to leave it as it is because there are instances of it as Hornbersley especially Arthur and an Annie travelling to Trinidad in 1926 where it is typewritten as Hornbersley on the ship's list I just found. Even on the marriage image Arthur's could be either and so could a couple of others so maybe there are alternate spellings.
Oh and if you want to fall out with me you'll have to get in line. Your turn will probably be about Wednesday of next week.

Arthur Hombersley, Curate of Normacot, Longton was appointed Rector of St. Andrew's, Grenada, West Indies (The Times, Sep 18, 1890)"dyfal donc a dyr y garreg"
