Lawrence Henry Orde WOODD, died age 27 in June 1/4 1879 registration district Penzance Cornwall. His wife doesn't appear to have remarried - death Dec 1927 age 80 Ann D Woodd Registration district - Tonbridge Kent.

There's a lengthy description of the marriage in the Derbyshire Courier, 16 Dec 1876 which includes -
"... The bridesmaids, four in number - Miss F. B. Evans, sister of the bride, Fraulein L. Von Frantzius and the Misses Statham (2) of Green Bank, nieces of the bride. ..."

Thanks helachau, so the third witnesses was Fraulein Laura Von Frantzius (born Danzig, Prussia 1846, died Torquay, England 1892) - no wonder I couldn't read it!
