    Hi my name is Val. I have only just started to look at the army side of my family. My family connections are from UK, Jamaica and Germany. I would welcome any help that anyone could offer and I will always do my best to assist when and where I can. I am new to forums and would ask for forgiveness in advance for any mistakes I am sure I will make. Thank you.

    Hi Val, and a warm welcome to British Genealogy. We are a friendly bunch and love helping each other, but we have all made mistakes along the way, so don't worry about that. Have a good look round and then post in the relevant place when you are ready.
