I've seen both spellings of Wolf, I believe the 'e' was dropped upon arrival in the states.

The Hurley (I presume baby George used the middle name in the US) obviously came from his baptismal sponsors.
Perhaps Ellen Hurley was a sister of either George senior or Mary Ann.

Could you copy and paste that baptismal index for some reason I can't find it on the site

Well I've just double-checked (searched George, 1852) and even though I spelt it Wolfe, it came up straightaway, with George Woulfe of Milleenagunm, so I don't know what you're doing wrong, unless it's failing to click on the result. I presume you're searching church records.

The index basically says what I transcribed re names, but also includes parish and date.
