    I have just found this website and am looking forward to perhaps sharing some stories.
    I have been researching my family history for some time now, and at the present time I am concentrating on the only roots I have so far found which stretch out from the east coast of Scotland, all the way to the south coast of Devon.

    Hi Heather and welcome. It's a great site for doing exactly what you describe. I'll bet that the south coast of Devon is a bit warmer than where you are right now!
