My daughter-in-law has found a small wooden first aid box which she wanted me to re-patriate! It measures approx 300mm x 200mm x 100mm and has the following info on it.
91572 SGT DAVIS
RAMC B. SPT.SQN
FIRST AID
This is the only info I have. I've had a look on Findmypast and Ancestry without success. Can anyone help with any info or guidance? Thanks

Hi
Are you sure about the name &/or service number.
Looking at medal index cards on national archives gave this result for the service number-
Medal card of Evans, George E Corps: Royal Army Medical Corps Regiment No: ...
Reference:
WO 372/6/226567
Description: Medal card of Evans, George E
Corps Regiment No Rank
Royal Army Medical Corps 91572 Private
Date: 1914-1920
Held by: The National Archives, Kew
Checking for a Sergeant Davis of RAMC in the same site gave no results, no results for 91572 with surname of Davis either. Using 91572 gave 10 results, not that name and only the above one RAMC???
