Ernest John Brewster snr's service records show he joined up 15 Feb 1909 and was discharged medically unfit 30 June 1910. so was only serving for 18 months and the gaps between births occur 1902 -1915 and 1916 - 1924. I can't read the condition that led to his discharge but there doesn't appear to be a Medal Roll Index card for him for WW1 service so don't think he managed to join up for WW1. Anyway I am getting sidetracked.
I'll take another look at Elizabeth Mary Nicholls.
