Looking for details of Arnold Barnicoat

Hi,
I am not a blood relative, only a neighbour with a keen interest in genealogy, having gone back 6 generations of my family from India. Also have a keen interest in WW2, I am also ex Indian Army Medical Corps.
My neighbour Janice Best is looking for details of her father, who was in the Royal Engineers, and evacuated from Dunkirk.
His name: Arnold Chesterfield Barnicoat
Rank: Sergeant Major
Born in Tregonay near Truro
DOB: 16/03/2013
Any info welcome; she has lost his medals too.

Arnold: born 16 March 1913. Son of James Charles Barnicoat & Rhoda Bennett (married Truro 1906); James born 1882, Truro (Tregony), son of Joseph & Lavinia (nee Fugler) ..... and much more I can dig out for you, if that's what you (she) wants? Not sure what you have already...

If she is interested in his service, then she can apply for his service records here - https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records
It does cost and she will need his death certificate and/or service number. Ask for his full service records.
She can also ask MOD Medals for his medal entitlement and purchase replacements - https://www.gov.uk/apply-medal-or-veterans-badge
Just write to the address on the form (or ring them) and tell them you just want to know his full entitlement.
