    Default Trying to obtain details of my Grandad

    Hi all. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
    Trying to find out any information of my Grandfathers time in the RAF during WW2.
    His details are:
    John Thomas Harper, born in Birmingham 12/6/1922. He was a rear gunner in the lancasters got wounded then deployed elsewhere. (I think) I know he served somewhere really hot as his normally dark hair got bleached white with the sun.
    Unfortunately like many he never spoke about his time in WW2, so have little information.
